Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
Jennings joins the Natural History club. Colour frontis, 4 b/w illustrations. Red boards, black title to spine. 256 pages, top edge red. Endpapers partly browned. Light foxing to textblock. Dustwrapper is price-cut by publisher with 'new' price sticker above. Dustwrapper is edge creased and slightly chipped.

- In theory the Form 3 Natural History Club at Linbury Court was an undertaking worthy of encouragement. In practice, however, it was found that the study of wild life upset the smooth running of school routine. And when Jennings (Chief Frog Spotter) and Darbishire (Hon. Sec.) decided to look farther afield for their specimens, things began to happen.For example, Mr. Wilkin's car developed engine trouble in mysterious circumstances; Dr. Hipkin, the "scientific frogman" narrowly escaped a watery grave. And then there was the combination padlock which required of its owner a knowledge of English history before it would function. But perhaps worst of all was the alleged escape of a swarm of newly-graduated frogs which might be hopping about the building just as the guests arrived for the Speech Day ceremony.
