The Enid Blyton Society's aim is to provide a focal point for Enid Blyton enthusiasts and collectors, and does so through its quarterly magazine, The Enid Blyton Society Journal, which is published three times a year and contains a good mix of well-illustrated articles, news, and helpful information to collectors of Blyton books, toys and ephemera. Also through the annual Enid Blyton Society Day, a meeting of the members which attracts in excess of one hundred enthusiasts and collectors each year. |

Millions of English-speaking children grew up with Saville's adventure stories which were set in real locations in Great Britain. His principal works involved The Lone Pine club - a group of children who form a secret society in wartime Shropshire. |

The Arthur Rackham Society was founded in 1984 to share enthusiasm and exchange information about the illustrator, as well as to encourage book collecting, the art of book illustration, and high quality in the production of children's books. The Society publishes a Journal three or four times a year and seeks to be a central source of information for researchers on where to view Rackham material, particularly material in private hands. |
