LITTLE TIM AND THE BRAVE SEA CAPTAIN Ardizzone, Edward. Illustrated by Ardizzone, Edward. Stock no. 428292 Oxford University Press. 1st ed thus. 1944. Good condition. Paperback edition. 32 pages. Handlettering is replaced by a setting in Gill Sans. Rear cover carries the imprint 'Engraved and printed by Henry Stone & Son Ltd., Banbyry. 2.5 inch tear to base of front cover, that has been repaired with sticky tape to both sides. Inscription in ink on inside front cover, dated 19.7.44. Some creasing and wear to covers. A few small edge-tears to base of some pages internally and some light edge-creasing with some margin marks.
